During the start of MCO, I did this program called ‘Squat Holiday’ by @keng.t from @aspirelife_wellness.

For 7 days straight, I squatted 3 times a day, close to 700 reps in total, and ate a whole lot of chicken and rice throughout. 😂

By far one of the most grueling programs I’ve ever done, but also life changing.
.
The initial goal was simple: to get stronger. The result? I learnt to be FEARLESS.
.
Fearless against:
- the heavy weights
- EATING more than I’m used to
- self-doubt
- the soreness
- the number of reps
.
Ultimately, this set the tone for how I choose to face life’s difficulties and challenges as we all learn to adapt to the #newnorm - unafraid.

This is a major shift in my mindset. No longer am I training just for physical strength, aesthetics, competition, skills. I’m training for LIFE.

In this video, I had not done any oly lifting in over a month (maybe longer). But I remember feeling strong and confident like never before. This was after Squat Holiday.
